The Partagás brand turns 175 years old this year and to celebrate, Habanos S.A. will be releasing a decorative humidor filled with 50 Tropicales, large cigars measuring 6 7/8 inches by 54 ring gauge. Converted to the metric system, the cigars are 175 mm long to coincide with the 175th anniversary.
Partagás Tropicales are an unusual size, known as flautas in cigar factories, and are only obtainable through this commemorative set.
The 175 Aniversario humidor is made of a cedar interior and bubinga exterior. Its detailed, marquetry doors unfold to present eight cigars displayed across the top, and two drawers that hold the remaining 42 Tropicales.
Only 450 numbered units will be produced.
